PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work pallet positioning and fixing mechanism capable of enhancing attaching accuracy of a positioning mechanism, facilitating the design and manufacture and the inventory management of a clamping mechanism, and improving the support rigidity of the center part of the work pallet. SOLUTION: The work pallet positioning and fixing mechanism 2 having the work pallet 1 and a base plate 5 in which the work pallet is detachable from above, positioning the work pallet in vertical and horizontal directions, constraining the rotation of the work pallet, and fixing the work pallet to the base plate includes: an annular base member 6 attached to the center part of the base plate in the state of being projected partially from the top face of the base plate; the positioning mechanism 70 provided on the base member and the work pallet, and capable of positioning the work pallet in horizontal and vertical directions with respect to the base member; and a plurality of positioning and clamping mechanisms 80 provided on a plurality of positions respectively on the peripheral side of the positioning mechanism in the base plate, and capable of positioning and fixing the work pallet in a vertical direction with respect to the base plate.
