PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist collecting device which can surely collect mist generated inside a liquid jetting apparatus while maintaining the quality of printing to a target, and to provide a liquid jetting apparatus equipped with the mist collecting device. SOLUTION: The mist collecting device includes a platen 27 wherein the supporting surface capable of supporting a recording paper 12 is arranged so as to be located opposite to the nozzle forming surface of a unit head 23 and wherein a long hole 28 capable of generating a negative pressure when being sucked is opened on the supporting surface, a negative pressure chamber communicated with the long hole 28 of the platen 27, and an inducing fan 33 for sucking the ink mist which is generated between the unit head 23 and the platen 27 due to the ink jetting from the nozzle into the negative pressure chamber through the long hole 28 by generating a negative pressure inside the negative pressure chamber. The long hole 28 is formed so as to be opened in the position opposite to the nozzle in the ink discharging direction from the nozzle of the unit head 23 in the supporting surface of the platen 27.
