<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride resin composition reducing the ratio of petroleum-derived ingredients without deteriorating impact resistance, further, giving a molded article, particularly an extrusion molded article, high in rigidity and low in linear thermal expansion coefficient. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vinyl chloride resin composition has a content of petroleum-derived ingredients adjusted in the range of 25-32.5 wt.%, and includes (A) 100 pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride resin having an average polymerization degree in the range of 700-1,500, (B) 40-60 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler, and (C) 1-15 pts.wt. of chlorinated polyethylene having 30-40 wt.% chlorine content; wherein, more than 80 wt.% of the inorganic filler (B) is calcium carbonate powder treated with a fatty acid or salts thereof and has an average particle diameter of ≤1 μm.
