PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-noise hinge cover device for a high-speed train pantograph having a hinge cover which reduces aerodynamic noise. SOLUTION: In a single-arm hinge cover device for the high-speed train pantograph having a pantograph head in contact with an overhead wire, an upper frame 2 for supporting the pantograph head, and a lower arm 3 attached to the roof side of an electric railway vehicle, a hollow part of the hinge cover 10 covering the hinge for connecting the upper frame 2 and the lower frame 3 is filled. Noise caused by a resonance sound and a swirl generated by the hollow part of the hinge cover 10 can be suppressed. A horizontal groove 10a is formed at the side face of the hinge cover 10, thereby breaking the generated swirl, and reducing a change in air pressure. The hinge cover suppresses the noise of the pantograph of a new high-speed train vehicle as well as the noise of the pantograph of an existing vehicle, thereby responding to the increase in speed of a railway vehicle.
