<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curable coating composition for cans, which is excellent in curability, hardness of a coating film and adhesion in a high relative-humidity environment and as a thick film. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet-curable coating composition for cans comprises a compound (A) bearing two oxetane groups, a compound (B) bearing one alicyclic epoxy group, a resin (C) bearing an epoxy group other than the alicyclic epoxy group, a photocationic polymerization initiator (D), a compound (E) bearing three (meth)acryloyl groups, a photoradical initiator (F) and a lubricating material (G), wherein the compounds (A) and (B) and the resin (C) contain 10-70 wt.% of the compound (A), 10-70 wt.% of the compound (B) and 5-60 wt.% of the compound (C); the compounds (A) and (B), the resin (C) and the compound (E) contain 1-50 wt.% of the compound (E); and the composition contains no compound bearing at least two alicyclic epoxy groups.
