摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently suppress occurrence of pre-ignition in a spark ignited internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: When a speed of the engine is a first speed, fuel injection by a fuel injection valve is performed to be completed by an early compression stroke during a cylinder cycle, and when the speed of the engine is a second speed lower than the first speed and requested torque for the engine is larger than prescribed torque, injection of a preceding stage fuel (FP1) by the fuel injection valve is performed to be completed by the early compression stroke during the cylinder cycle, and injection of a subsequent stage fuel (FP2) of an amount larger than the preceding stage fuel by the fuel injection valve is performed in a late compression stroke during the cylinder cycle.
