PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a receiver in which a great burden is prevented from being loaded upon reception data processing even when a plurality of receiving antennas are provided in a vehicle-side device. SOLUTION: Among a plurality of receiving antennas 11 in a vehicle-side device 10, one antenna is functioned as a master and the remaining antennas are functioned as slaves. When a master receiving antenna 11M receives RF data from a mobile unit 100 by itself, the master receiving antenna 11M transmits the RF data to the vehicle-side device 10 and if the RF data can not be received, the master receiving antenna 11M sequentially designates a plurality of other slave receiving antennas 11S and transmits, to the vehicle-side device 10, RF data transferred from a slave receiving antenna 11S that can receive the RF data from the mobile unit 100. Each slave receiving antenna 11S is brought into a receiving state by receiving a designation from the master receiving antenna 11M and receives RF data transmitted from the mobile unit 100 in an active state, thereby transferring the RF data to the master receiving antenna 11M.
