PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel a silent mode, readily and without errors. SOLUTION: When a data identifier 109 determines that a first mail 112 and a second mail 113 received by a communicator 102 within a predetermined time meets predetermined cancel conditions, in a state where a silent mode controller 105 of a cellular phone 101 sets a notifier 107 into a silent mode in response to operation of an operating section 110, the silent mode controller 105 forcibly cancels the silent mode of the notifying unit 107 and switches to a non-silent mode.
