MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, CONTROL STATION, BASE STATION, COMMUNICATION METHOD AND PROGRAM

A mobile communication system comprises base stations each of which forms a cell and transmits MBMS data to a mobile station existing in the cell; and control stations each of which controls a base station connected thereto.  The control stations include at least one first control station and further include one second control station that decides a frequency and a timing of transmitting MBMS data in the cell and that instructs the first control station on the use of the decided frequency and timing.  Each of the first and second control stations establishes a time synchronization with another control station and instructs the connected base station to set the cell to the frequency decided by the second control station and further transmits, to the connected base station, the MBMS data in accordance with the transmission timing decided by the second control station.
