The drive system has drive elements comprising curved rotating drive disks (4) and fixed drive disks (6), where bulge of the drive elements is constructed such that surfaces of the drive elements are large. Electrical conducting paths (2) are arranged on a drive shaft (1) and are supplied with voltage from inductive transmission units (3). The drive elements comprise rotor blades at its outer sides for active cooling of the drive system, where the system is made of light construction material i.e. carbon fiber. A housing (5) is filled with sulfur hexafluoride gas.
