<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food product enabling inexpensive ingestion of a sufficient amount of ornithine without sense of incongruity by producing and including ornithine in a process of producing fermented soybean paste. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing the Miso (ornithine-containing fermented soybean paste) includes inoculation of lactic acid bacterium for converting arginine to ornithine when producing the Miso (fermented soybean paste). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
