<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp capable of suppressing temperature rise of amalgam by heat generation of a lighting circuit component. <P>SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp 1 is provided with a light emitting tube 13, a fine tube 19 which is arranged projecting from the light emitting tube 13 and in which amalgam 20 supplying mercury vapor to the light emitting tube 13 is enclosed, a lighting circuit component 22 mounted on a circuit board 21, a cover 16 in which the lighting circuit component 22 and the fine tube 19 are housed, and a surrounding part 18 arranged in the cover 16 and shutting out the heat generated from the lighting circuit component 22. Then, the fine tube 19 is housed in a space surrounded by the surrounding part 18 and the cover 16. Since the fine tube 19 in which the amalgam 20 is enclosed is arranged in a space different from the lighting circuit component 22, it is shut down from the heat generated from the lighting circuit component 22 by the surrounding part 18 to suppress temperature rise of the amalgam 20 enclosed in the fine tune 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
