<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color electrophotographic image forming apparatus capable of improving ease of operation including mounting and removing of a cartridge positioned on the upstream side in the direction of travel in which a cartridge tray moves from an inner side position to an outer side position, on/from the cartridge tray. <P>SOLUTION: The color electrophotographic image forming apparatus forming an image on a recording medium by mounting the cartridges 9, 10, 11, 12 on an apparatus body A detachably includes: the cartridge tray 26 supporting the cartridges and passing through an opening 30 provided on an external wall 44 to move between the inner side position I and the outer side position O of the apparatus body A; and a guide member 27 supporting the cartridge tray 26 to move linearly between the inner side position I and the outer side position O, and supporting the cartridge tray 26 so that a downstream side thereof can tilt downwardly by using the upstream side in the direction of travel in which the cartridge tray 26 moves from the inner side position I to the outer side position O as a fulcrum while the cartridge tray 26 is positioned at the outer side position O. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
