PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method inexpensively preventing static charge of taped components without trouble; and to provide a device for supplying an electronic circuit component where the method is carried out. SOLUTION: Respective component holding devices 100 of a plurality of tape feeders 50 of this device for supplying an electronic circuit component 24 are covered with a cover 130; a humidified air ejection device 132 arranged in the cover 130 is made to eject humidified air to increase humidity in the space in the cover 130 to humidify parts of taped components 80 extracted from a reel 102; and static charge in peeling a cover tape is prevented. The taped components may be humidified by arranging a spray device instead of the humidified air ejection device to eject misty water, and the cover may be eliminated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
