<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a time for battery replacement and return to a zero position by a simple constitution without the necessity for installing a dedicated pointer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Ultraviolet ray strength is measured in a UV display mode to display the instantaneous value strength and accumulated value strength of ultraviolet rays by pointers 118 and 119, and a reduction to a prescribed value or lower in the output of a battery is indicated in a BLD display mode. The pointers 118 and 119 are returned to zero positions 202 and 204 after a battery is replaced in a zero match mode M1. The position of the instantaneous value pointer 118 can be altered. The zero match mode M2 is allowed to shift when prescribed operation is performed in the state of the zero mach mode 1, and can change and the position of the accumulated value pointer 119. When the output of the battery is reduced to a prescribed value or lower, the pointers 118 and 119 are driven in such a way to be positioned in a region different from a measurement value display region in which measurement values are displayed (BLD display mode).
