<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to achieve more flexible setting of functions as intended by a user of an image processing device, which performs an image processing job under combination of a plurality of functions, if inhibited combination which cannot be performed by one job is included in the plurality of functions. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image processing device performs control to receive designation from the user once even if functions are the ones constituting the inhibited combination, thereafter, to urge the user to cancel any designation of the functions constituting the inhibited combination so as to eliminate the inhibited combination, and to perform the job if all the inhibited combination is eliminated.
