PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clarify pharmacological action of milk by identifying its site of action, to identify target diseases that can be appropriately prevented and treated by milk deduced from its mechanism of action, and to use milk for prevention or treatment of the identified diseases.

SOLUTION: A nuclear receptor activator contains milk or a milk fraction containing milk fat, provided that the nuclear receptor is at least one receptor chosen from PPARα, PPARδ and RXR receptors.
