CYLINDER HEAD-SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR VALVE SEAT FORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head-supporting device for valve seat formation which can improve the positional accuracy of a laser padding to the valve seat part of a cylinder head.

SOLUTION: The cylinder head supporting device 30 for valve seat formation includes: a pallet 20 and a supporting base 42 for supporting a cylinder head 10; a positioning mechanism 32 for positioning the cylinder head 10 with a positioning pin 38 as a reference that is inserted into a guide hole 40 of a valve stem corresponding to the valve seat part 18 on which the padding is formed for the cylinder head 10; and a cylinder head rotating mechanism 34 for rotating the cylinder head 10 which is positioned by the positioning mechanism 32, around the axial line of the guide hole 40 of the valve stem.
