PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of the resonance of a correction lens on a photographing result, the resonance being caused by actuation of a compositional member during a photographing operation. SOLUTION: If an exposure time is shorter than a predetermined time even when an image blur correction switch is off, power is supplied to a coil and the correction lens is electrically held mainly for correction. This reduces the effect of resonance on a photographing result. In addition, if the exposure time is longer than the predetermined time even when the image blur correction switch is off, power is not supplied to the coil since the effect of resonance is small.
