PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resistance to center wearability while maintaining resistance to external injury. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a carcass 2, at least two cross belts 32, 33 laminated outside in a tire diameter direction of the carcass 2 to cross codes each other, a reinforcing belt 31 arranged between the cross belts 32, 33 and the carcass 2 with a central part in the tire width direction extracted, a belt cushion rubber 5 arranged in a manner that it contacts ends in the tire width direction of the reinforcing belt 31 between ends in the tire width direction of the cross belts 32, 33 and the carcass 2. The pneumatic tire further includes a hard rubber layer 61 arranged in the extracted part of the reinforcing belt 31 and formed to be equal to or larger than coat rubber of the carcass 2 in elastic modulus, and a soft rubber layer 62 arranged to be laminated on the reinforcing belt 31 in a tire diameter direction except the extracted part and formed to be equal to or smaller than the belt cushion rubber 5 in elastic modulus.
