MUTANT REVERSE TRANSCRIPTION DNA POLYMERASE

Disclosed are: a DNA polymerase having an excellent reverse transcriptional activity and excellent heat resistance; and a method for synthesizing or amplifying cDNA, which is high in efficiency. Specifically disclosed are: a mutant DNA polymerase which is produced by substituting at least one amino acid residue selected from the group consisting of the amino acid residues located at position-326, position-329, position-384, position-388, position-408 and position-438 in the amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:1 by an alanine residue and has an excellent reverse transcriptional activity and excellent heat resistance; and a method for synthesizing or amplifying cDNA by utilizing the mutant DNA polymerase.
