In SU-MIMO, even if a single antenna exhibits a poor propagation path state, a transmission antenna diversity effect is obtained, thereby improving the error rate.  A transmitter apparatus (100), which has a plurality of antennas (108-1 to 108-Ntx) and uses a MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) system to transmit signals, comprises a DFT unit (111) that pre-codes transport data; and a spectrum dividing unit (112) that divides a spectrum outputted by the DFT unit (111).  The transmitter apparatus (100) uses the different antennas (108-1 to 108-Ntx) to transmit the respective spectra as divided.
