<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for differentiation induction into insulin-secreting cells by taking advantage of an adult stem cell so as to develop a cell therapeutic agent for treating human type 1 diabetes. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for inducing a stem cell separated from a subcutaneous fatty tissue of the eye into insulin secretion having excellent insulin secretion efficiency, a culture method is used in which glucose concentration in a culture solution is sequentially treated from high concentration to low concentration and the culture solution is treated with a cytokine and a growth factor such as B27 replenisher, fibroblast growth factor-2, epithelial cell growth factor, nicotinamide, glucagon-like peptide, activin A, insulin-like growth factor and β-cellulin in two stages or four stages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
