PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an edge part of a 3D image displayed in three dimensions to look natural.

SOLUTION: A 3D processing section 30 performs 3D processing on first and second images G1 and G2 respectively captured by photographing sections 21A and 21B, and then a display control section 28 displays images for 3D display which have been obtained by performing 3D processing, in three dimensions on a monitor 20. A correcting section 31 corrects an edge part of the second image G2 in such a manner as to have the three-dimensional appearance of an area including a portion viewed stereoscopically in front of a display screen of the monitor 20 when the image is displayed in three dimensions gradually come closer to that of the display screen and eventually conform to it. The 3D processing section 30 performs 3D processing on the first image G1 and the corrected second image G2.
