摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an aliphatic amino acid hydroxylase having low substrate specificity, and to provide a method for producing an aliphatic amino acid hydroxide, by which various aliphatic amino acid hydroxides can be produced with the enzyme only by changing a substrate molecule. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the L- and D-aliphatic amino acid dioxygenase catalyzing the hydroxylation reaction of the L- and D-isomers of an aliphatic amino acid in the presence of 2-oxoglutaric acid and divalent iron ion; and the method for producing the hydroxide of L- and D-aliphatic amino acid including a step of making L- and D-aliphatic amino acid dioxygenase comprising a specific amino acid sequence to act on the aliphatic amino acid to obtain the hydroxide of the aliphatic amino acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
