ANODE COLLECTOR, ANODE, AND SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery excellent in safety and moreover for obtaining more excellent cycle characteristics.

SOLUTION: A lamination of a cathode 57 and an anode 50 with a separator 53 in which electrolyte solution is impregnated intervening in-between is enclosed inside an external can 54 and an external cut 55. The anode 50 is made of an anode active material layer 52 containing an anode active material such as silicon or the like arranged on an anode collector 51 with a projected part 51B formed on a base material 51A. The base material 51 contains carbon and sulphur in a ratio of 100ppm or less respectively and moreover contains crystallites with an average size of 0.01 μm or more and 5 μm or less.
