<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any feeling of oppression to an occupant by an outer webbing irrespective of the physique of the occupant seated in a seat and wearing the outer webbing of a seat belt device in an automobile provided with a seat having a seat cushion and a seat back and the seat belt device for protecting the occupant seated in the seat while an inner belt of the seat belt device is pressed by the seat back and supported so as to be turned to the forwardly tilting position when the seat back is forwardly tilted to the non-service position. <P>SOLUTION: An inner belt 10 is supported so as to be turned to the retracted position backwardly from the neutral position, and the inner belt 10 is freely turned while any spring force is not applied to the inner belt 10 when the inner belt 10 is between the neutral position and the retracted position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
