<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical radiation detector using common parts even when the number of slices is different and to provide a multi-slice X-ray CT apparatus using this. <P>SOLUTION: A radiation detector module in a 64×24 matrix is constituted by arranging two of each of arrays 13 of scintillators of a 32×24 matrix and arrays 14 of photodiodes also of a 32×24 matrix on a photodiode array holding substrate 15 with gaps G and along a slice direction A and connecting output terminals 17 of the photodiode arrays with electrode pads 18 of the photodiode array holding substrate 15. The output terminals 17 are arranged in the same positions as the electrode pads 18. The interval between the positions is equal and is not smaller than the interval between the arranged photodiode elements. A 64-row multi-slice X-ray radiation detector is constituted by connecting the electrode pads 18 with data collecting chips 42 which collect output of the radiation detector module and converts it into digital signals by connection lines 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
