DISPLAY DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a HMD which is made smaller in size and lighter in weight than the conventional one while having a function of detecting a direction of a user's line-of-sight. SOLUTION: The HMD 1 includes: optical mechanisms 30 each for guiding an external field image and an image in the eye of the user U to an imaging device 10 and for guiding the image displayed in a display mechanism 20 to the eye of the user U; and controllers 40 each detecting the position of the pupil of the user U from a superposed image where the external field image and the image in the eye of the user U imaged by the imaging device 10 are superimposed each other, and also, for controlling the display mechanism 20 to display a cursor image in accordance with the detected position of the pupil of the user U. The optical mechanism 30 is configured to partly include combination of a plurality of hologram sheets having appropriately determined reflection angle and refractive angle.
