PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition forming a cured coating film excellent in all of scratch resistance, acid resistance, stain resistance and finished properties. SOLUTION: The coating composition comprises: a hydroxy group-containing resin (A) having a hydroxyl value of 80-200 mgKOH/g and a weight-average molecular weight of 2,500-40,000; a polyisocyanate compound (B); and a reaction product (C) having a hydroxyl value of 40-180 mgKOH/g and a number-average molecular weight of 1,000-5,000, which is obtained by adding a hydroxy acid to a carbodiimide group in a reaction product (a) obtained by urethanization reaction of a polycarbonate diol and a carbodiimide compound having isocyanate groups at both ends under conditions of excessive hydroxy groups.
