PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevation aid that can be smoothly inserted into the body through a skin-cut point, and while the elevation aid is pushed forward and goes exfoliating the tissues adhering to blood vessels (or organs or the like) from the latter, the aid does not permit the exfoliated tissues elevated with the aid external surface to laterally slide off there, and can stably hold the exfoliated tissues as they are in the elevated conditions. SOLUTION: The elevation aid 1 includes a tubular body 2 through which a treatment tool is inserted, and a distal end 3 disposed at one end of the tubular body 2 and having a cavity 3c therein for the formation of a treatment tool work space. The aid is inserted into the body through a skin-cut point 40 of the outer skin layer 41 for exfoliating the tissues adhering together from each other.
