The system has a fuel cell, hydrogen reservoir, in which hydrogen is reserved under high pressure. A conveyor device (10) is provided between the exit and the entrance of the anode region in the anode circuit or hydrogen supply line. A turbine (11) is provided between the hydrogen reservoir (8) and the anode region (4), which provides a part of the capacity required for the drive of the conveyor device.
