<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device largely reducing the processing loads when a displayed video is moved to an optional position or expanded on a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: This image display device displays a static image capturing a moving image displayed on a layer 206 for moving image on a layer 206 for moving. A multimedia engine 202 stops displaying of the moving image displayed on the layer 204 at the timing of capturing by a capturing part 214.
