摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption while securing performance for processing a request, when a node device configuring a redundant system operates as an operation system, and to obtain high power-saving effects, when the node device operates as a stand-by system. <P>SOLUTION: When a self-node device 1 operates as an operation system, a power control means 3 compares a first descent threshold Th1, between first and second descent thresholds Th1 and Th2(Th1<Th2), with the load of the self-node device 1 detected by a load detection means 2, to determine whether to make the frequency of a clock which is to be supplied to a CPU in the self-node device 1 smaller than that in normal state.
