<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood golf club head and a wood golf club having the wood golf club head that can combine maintaining a sweet spot height low with securing large vertical moment of inertia. <P>SOLUTION: A rectangular region including a face part side line segment 81, a back side line segment 82, a heel side line segment 83 and a toe side line segment 84 is set to a projection image of a head 1 projected on a reference faceβin a state of a sole part 14 being grounded on the reference faceβat a specified lie angle, and the rectangular region is divided into nine congruent element rectangular regions.
