<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromotive vehicle capable of traveling a desired traveling route and saving electricity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A carrier car 10 as the electromotive vehicle includes: a main power unit 14 having a drive wheel 30, a drive motor 28 driving the drive wheel 30 and a battery 12 providing the drive motor 28 with electricity; an auxiliary power unit 18 assisting the travelling by the main power unit 14; and a control unit 22 controlling the driving of the main power unit 14 and the auxiliary power unit 18. In this case, the auxiliary power unit 18 includes: an energy stock mechanism 34 including a coiled spring 32 as an elastic body capable of on the one hand converting power into elastic force and storing the force, and meanwhile outputting the stored elastic force as power; an auxiliary motor 36 capable of imparting power to the energy stock mechanism 34 and storing the elastic force in the coiled spring 32; and an auxiliary drive wheel 38 driven by power based on the stored elastic force.
