<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a T-nut capable of preventing paint, oil, foaming material, and foreign matters from intruding into the shaft section thereof, enabling a female screw to be formed to the front end of the shaft section since female screw machining can be easily performed, packaged compactly, and manufacturable at low cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This T-nut 1 includes the metal cylindrical shaft section 2, and a metal flange section 6 extending outward from the first end 2a of the shaft section 2. The female screw 4 is formed in the inner peripheral surface of the shaft section 2, and claws 7 extending from the first end 2a of the shaft section 2 toward the second end 2b thereof are formed on the flange section 6. The shaft section 2 is hollowed through. An opening 3 at the first end 2a of the shaft section 2 is sealed by a sealing member 11 formed of a synthetic resin material or the like.
