<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum can gripping tool capable of hanging out a drum can even in a storage shed low in the ceiling. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A gripping tool body 12 has a hanger 17 in its trough part 16 by forming the trough part 16 in a central part by bending a frame member 15. Both end parts of the gripping tool body 12 are provided with a shackle 13 for connecting a sandwiching part 14 for sandwiching an end surface peripheral edge part of a drum can to the gripping tool body 12. Since a position of the hanger 17 becomes the trough part 16 under both end part positions of the gripping tool body 12, the drum can can be hung out even in the storage shed narrow in a space and low in the ceiling for hanging down the drum can gripping tool 11.
