PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new nonwoven fabric and a production method therefor. SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric has a fiber diameter in a range of 10-1,000 nm and possesses an application as an ultraviolet light-blocking functional material, wherein a lamination thickness is preferably set in a range of 3-200μm. It is preferable that the nonwoven fabric contains any one kind selected from or a mixture formed by combining two or more kinds selected from a group of a nylon 6, nylon 66, polyurethane, polyacrylonitrile, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, polyethylene, polyester, polystyrene, polypropylene, phenol formaldehyde, polyvinylidene fluoride, polylactic acid, chitosan and collagen.
