PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate setting for connection of a network system. SOLUTION: A device has a first connecting unit 131 for connecting to a setting device 20a for setting data required for connection with the network system 1 to a network device 100, a second connecting unit 132 for connecting to the network system via a relay device 10, a support application storing unit 121a which stores a setting support application that functions by being read to the setting device when connected to the setting device via the first connecting unit, a setting data storing unit 126c for acquiring the setting data set by the setting device which has read the application through the first connecting unit and storing it, and a connection processing unit 110a for performing a process for connecting to the network system via the second connecting unit and the relay device using the setting data stored in the setting data storing unit.
