An electric power source system includes a main electric storage device (BA) and a plurality of sub-electric storage devices (BB1, BB2). A converter (12B) is connected with a selected one of the sub-electric storage devices (BB1, BB2) and carries out a bidirectional voltage conversion between the selected sub-electric storage device and an electric power supply line (PL2). When a switching request for the selected sub-electric storage device in operation takes place, the input and output upper limit electric power of the selected sub-electric storage device is continuously changed. This can avoid a discontinuous change of the electric power input to, and output from, the electric power source system during the switch processing of the selected sub-electric storage device. As a result, a sudden change in the behavior of an electrically driven vehicle can be avoided. |
