<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint manufacturable easily at low cost while sufficiently exhibiting the function as a slip-off prevention ring and preventing a pipe from being extracted if the pipe is inserted to a position where the pipe is brought into contact with a packing. <P>SOLUTION: This pipe joint includes: a joint body 1 having a main part 10 from which a tubular part 11 projects; the packing 9 which is fitted into an annular groove 11c provided on the outer peripheral surface 11f of the tubular part, and fits into and seals a connection pipe 5 fitted into the tubular part; the slip-off prevention ring 2 molded into a C-shaped split ring so that a machined bar having a sharp end 22 capable of biting in the inner peripheral surface 53 of the pipe is disposed on the outer peripheral side with its sharp end disposed on the outer peripheral side; and a peripheral groove 11e having, in addition to a deep groove part 11e0 which is peripherally formed in the outer peripheral surface 11f of the tubular part and to which the slip-off prevention ring 22 is fitted, a sloped groove part 11e1 which has a wall surface on the tubular part tip side of the deep groove part, the outer diameter of which is gradually increased from the bottom of the deep groove part toward the tubular part tip side and which extends from the deep groove part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
