<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for guiding a user interested in news to a site where the news is contributed. <P>SOLUTION: A news site guiding server 1 includes a transmission article determination part 104. When receiving the position information of a browsing terminal 3, the transmission article determination part 104 extracts the news article of a region corresponding to the received position information and determines it as the news article to be transmitted to the browsing terminal 3. Also, when the position information indicating the position at which the extracted news article is contributed is within a prescribed range from the position information of the browsing terminal 3, a link for a user to access a map is imparted to the news article.
