<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ashtray which has the particles of tungsten oxide or a tungsten oxide composite on the surface, can hold hydrophilicity for a long time, and has a high antistaining performance and a high deodorizing effect. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the ashtray having the particles of tungsten oxide or composite tungsten oxide material on the surface, characterized in that the average particle diameter of the fine particles is in a range of 1 to 200 nm; and the aspect ratio of the fine particles is in a range of 1 to 3.5. When the fine particles of the tungsten oxide or composite tungsten oxide material excellent in a photocatalyst performance under the irradiation with visible light are used, an organic stain and gas-decomposing performance and an antibacterial-disinfecting performance can be added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
