<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate creation of video data for the whole of even a long musical piece. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A video recording device includes an electronic camera 11, a display device 14, a sound source circuit 15, and a computer part 17. By processing of the computer part 17, video is photographed in accordance with flow of a musical piece and is stored as video data, and the stored video data is played back. Specifically, the computer part 17 stores video data representing the video photographed by the electronic camera 11, in accordance with a designated section and a progress position of a musical piece while playing back the designated section of the musical piece. The computer part 17 consecutively reproduces video data in a plurality of sections, which is stored per section, simultaneously with playback of the musical pieces in the plurality of sections.
