SOLUTION: The method for producing an ionic liquid-containing resin includes a mixing step to incorporate an ionic liquid into a resin. Here, the resin is a thermoplastic resin. It is preferable to mix the ionic liquid into a heated resin in the mixing step. The thermoplastic resin is preferably a styrene resin. It is also preferable that the resin is a thermosetting resin and the ionic liquid is preferably added to a resin raw material in the mixing step. The thermosetting resin is preferably an epoxy resin. The ionic liquid is preferably BMImBF4. This method produces a resin containing an ionic liquid. Ž
