<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use ultrasonic examination assisting devices such as an information input device and a printer without deteriorating convenience concerning a compact/portable ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus includes: a case body for housing an image generating part for supplying a plurality of driving signals to an ultrasonic probe including a plurality of ultrasonic transducers to transmit and receive ultrasonic wave, and processing a plurality of reception signals to be outputted from the ultrasonic probe, so as to generate an image signal expressing an ultrasonic diagnosis image; and a display part to be rotatably supported by the case body, where a display for displaying the ultrasonic diagnosis image, based on the image signal generated by the image generating part, is arranged on the first surface, and at least one mounting part is arranged on the second surface opposing to the first surface, which is electrically connected to the ultrasonic examination assisting devices when the ultrasonic examination assisting devices to be used for assisting the ultrasonic examination are mounted.
