Autoimmune disorders, transplant rejection, and inflammatory disorders share a common origin in that the host's immune system is activated such that it attacks otherwise healthy tissue. Aminoacyl t-RNA synthetase inhibitors, such as borrelidin, have now been shown to act as broad spectrum immunosuppressants. Said compounds, and compositions comprising said compounds, are useful in the treatment of the aforementioned diseases.
