The inventive process defines how to improve the adherence coefficient between the rail track and the carrying tire, reaching levels similar to those obtained in dry track conditions. The machine is useful for carrying out two types of cleaning: the first of the hydrosandblasting type and the second of the hydrowashing type. The hysdrosandblasting machine for rail tracks is the means by which a deep cleaning of the track is obtained at a low speed using the projection of sand and water at high pressure perpendicularly to the track. Said machine has the ability to apply the deep cleaning process at a kilometre away from the track per working night. The deep cleaning state is maintained by using the same machine, which is intended to apply a chemical degreaser onto the track, brush the track with two circular brushes and rinse with water at high pressure, thus performing the hydrowashing process. Both actions produce a substantial increase in the degraded adherence coefficient between t he track and the carrying tire, when trains travel through surface or raised portions and under rain conditions.
