<p>The device (1) has a ballast brush (28) supported at a machine frame (3) and uniformly carrying a ballast (4) at a reference level (30). A conveyor device is supported at the frame and removes the unnecessary ballast from a machined rail section, where the unnecessary ballast is carried by the ballast brush. Another ballast brush (22) is arranged in a travel direction from the former ballast brush. The latter ballast brush carries the ballast at a level (23), which is higher than the reference level. An independent claim is also included for a method for uniform leveling of a ballast at rails.</p> |
